BIOGRAPHIE DE THE OFFSPRING
The Offspring existe depuis 1987, grâce à la rencontre quelques années plus tôt de Dexter Holland (chant) et Greg K (basse). Désormais grands maîtres du concert pogoteux et du punk californien grand public, ils firent un gros carton avec leur troisième album « Smash », sortit en 1994, qui leur ouvre le marché européen. Les 9 millions de disques écoulés feront d’ailleurs gagner à Epitaph le record du plus grand nombre de ventes pour un label indépendant. La prochaine grosse réussite fut « Americana » (10 millions d’albums vendus). Avec l’album « Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace” sorti en juin 2008, The Offspring revient nous secouer les oreilles, accompagnés d’un premier single « Hammerhead » détonant.
